Art, Ideas and Tutoring

Merry Christmas and a great 2026

This little bulb, that is originally just 3cm small, stands for all the bulbs that are put too much or too little on trees, wreaths, windowsills and other places because we’ve got too much space or none at all. Think about the last ones.

May the 2026 be better!

Rescuing Paintings

… is also part of my portfolio because it’s fun for me to change or to help change a painting so that it gets a place on the wall.

Here Britta called me for help for her big painting (120x100cm). Sometimes you just can see the small things instead of the big picture because you stand so near to the easel, but I could help. Yeah!

Vogeler’s Barkenhoff at Worpswede

I was at the Barkenhoff, Heinrich Vogeler’s place he bought for his wife, his kids and himself. During the time living there, he doesn’t just paint his romantic art, but also designed most furniture, cutlery and even wallpaper himself.

His fine art start very romantic, went through impressionism after travelling to France, through art deco to cubism when he moved to Russia – a very moving life.

Art against Corona

Life has become so different – for all of us, anyway which country.

Finally, we really feel that we’re all sitting in one boat and how important it is to rely on family, friends and neighbours. Isn’t that a big luck to have them?

To talk to them in social distance about 1,5-2m you might feel a bit better with these masks you can get at Fineart America.

Have a look and a laugh. It’s so important to laugh these days…!

What about a Print? (1)

What about a Print? (1)

There are so many printing companies around and I gave one a try and was quite happy with the results.

This tiny pencil painting was originally just 10x10cm. Now the size is 20x20cm. It’s printed on paper and put on foam with a longlife sticking stripe on its back so that you can change its place very often. Besides it’s very light.

I offer these prints and those I show you during the next weeks for $45.00 (shipping included).

A warm Welcome !
