These both are witnesses of my past because I grew up in rail workers household and worked for the German railway just after school. The lokomotive was part of my train toys that was just built up for christmas. I loved playing with it. I still have it in the attic. Before saying good bye to something it was a good thing to paint it.

The oil can belonged to my great-grandfather, who had actually oiled old steam engines with it. When my parent’s home was cleared, I took it. Now it has found a place in the garden.
